went a little something like this:
friend: erin, did you change your hair?
me: no... ...actually i did part it differently now that i think about it, maybe that's it?
friend: but it just looks so shiny and beautiful!
me: well... i did wash and condition it today, maybe that's it?
turns out washing and conditioning your hair makes it look shiny and beautiful.... weird!
