Be Responsible.
Now you can take this however you like. But. I have 5 friends in particular who stay up til the butt crack of dawn. Every night.
Do they wake up on time in the morning? Yes.
How do they do it? Who stupid bratty knows.
but
They try to convince ME to stay out with them until the wee morning hours every day.
Why don't I stay out late?
Here are 10 good reasons.
1. Early To Bed, Early To Rise, Ever heard of it?
2. If I don't get at least 7 hours of sleep every night, I do not function. Ever.
3. What is there possibly to do after midnight?
And going to WalMart and Betos{insert other 24 hr. fast food/store locations here} does not count
4. Mil is hitting me right now
5. I really need my beauty rest.
6. It causes illness
7. You are more prone to be stopped by cops and killed.
8. You start having conversations with your brain.
9. Mutha gets upset.
10. The Holy Ghost goes to bed at midnight.
Mil, I AM NOT A FAG.
that is all.
get some rest.
and i don't want to mention any names here....
but
escy, duran dilfey, wolfman, jamilio, and punkin bunny.... Get some freaking SLEEP! You're making me tired just thinking about your staying up late. And 2 of you are sick right now. Proof that you NEED sleep.
that is all. love ya! <3

3 and 12

Sunday, April 26, 2009

in 3 days I will turn 22.
weird.
I don't feel old.
I remember thinking[at 16] that I was so old. And that in 5 years I'd be married with a child, done with school, working at a fancy job... I guess I'll wait another 5 years. For now, I'm happy with life and where I'm at right now. ;)
Here's a few things I want to do when I'm 22
continue to go to fashion school
travel. {top 5 places I want to go right now: NYC, San Francisco, Paris, London, Mexican Cruise}
grow my hair to my shoulders. Ponytail city!
Sew my first dress.
in 12 days I'm going to disneyland with my 7 best friends.
I'm SO excited.
mostly for:
indiana jones adventure
mickey shaped ice cream
dole whip
matterhorn
sleeping beauty castle walk through
the beach
downtown disney
walking right down the middle of Main Street USA

Apparently I'm 12 years old.

New York City

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Okay
So
I've got the opportunity to go to NYC for a few weeks.
May 22ish to June 1.

Please tell me why I shouldn't go

There's nothing holding me here.

Nothing.

So.

Should I do it?..

I want to SO badly.

2 weeks of roaming the city:
broadway
central park
upper westside
times square
shopping for my christian loubuitons
museums
manhattan temple
subways
statue of liberty
taxis
ground zero
checking out design schools

It'll probably cost around $3000 when it's all said and done....

help!

What a way to start out the morning...

Monday, April 13, 2009

So, this morning started out just like any other monday morning..

I hit snooze on my alarm about 4 times, then finally decided to try and wake up for work.. I usually just stay downstairs, but this morning I decided to just lay on the couch upstairs to "wake up" a little more..

So my dad rushed down the hall, said "have a good day" like he usually does, and ran out the door.. then Rudy started attacking my arm. As I was trying to fight her off and get a few more minutes of "resting my eyes" in, my dad rushes back in the house

he ran down the hall yelling for my mom.. I thought that was a little strange, so I go down the hall to find my dad on the ground.

He got up and barely got to his bed. He was just laying there and complaining that he was SO dizzy and that the room was spinning, and he started sweating like CRAZY.

So, I'm sittin here watching my dad and freaking out.. My mom is calm as ever and just calls my neighbor who is a nurse.

She told her about my dad's symptoms and asked if it would be a good idea to take him into the ER

We decided we might as well just take him in, so my mom pulled the van out of the garage and went to help my dad up..

Well, my dad could barely sit up on his own he was so dizzy.. So my mom's like... UGH Kurt. that's it, I'm calling 911.

So at this point i'm REALLY freaking out.

I had NO clue what was wrong, and my dad was acting like his brain had exploded, the way he was complaining and groaning.

You can imagine what was going through my mind, only the worst of course..

Long story short, about 3 minutes later.. I heard the sirens.

3 police cars, 1 fire truck and 1 ambulance later, my dad was rushed to the hospital.

Another 3 hours or so later my dad was on his way home from the hospital.. He just had vertigo.

It was amazing how quickly our neighbors and friends were there surrounding us ready to help out.

There were people there to give my dad a blessing
Others offering to keep us kids company
Some were just giving us hugs

I'm just so thankful for so many caring and loving people in my life! I feel truly blessed today. It was a scary time but good to know that if anything serious should happen that my family is in good hands!

Thank you, everyone. I love you all and appreciate you so much, you've no idea!

groundhog day follow up

Friday, April 10, 2009

So, a bit ago I mentioned my "groundhog day experience"

Elaborate is what people tell me..

So.

I went on a date friday, followed by a date saturday

two different guys. both fun dates.

where does it get weird?..

They both drove cherry red trucks.
They both took me to Color Me Mine (i'm not complainin, i LOVE that place)

where does it get a little freaky?..

they both got pulled over on the drive back to my house.

Now tell me that's not groundhog day worthy.

it was hilar.

if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm a fan of Dancing With The Stars..

I love critiquing the dances and looking at all the fabulous (and sometimes not so fabulous) costumes.

I love watching the professionals and the routines they come up with.

One professional who is fave:
Julianne Hough. Gorgeous.

I've been a fan of hers since she joined the professionals on DWTS. She's so beautiful and just quirky and fun and I love her. This is her "before"

and AFTER

.... Still beautiful, but she was SO gorgeous before! And she doesn't even look like the same girl anymore!.. Seriously. You just lost about 86 respect points. I don't understand why gorgeous girls think they're not and go mess up their face to make them look...well, still beautiful but FAKE LOOKING.. Ugh. It Bugs.

Take Meg Ryan For instance. Beautiful.. Then she got a little older. And instead of rejoicing in her gorgeous wrinkles that mean you've got wisdom and experiences under your belt she goes and gets plastic surgery!

Not so pretty. :( Makes me sad.

In however many years when I'm old and wrinkled, I will remember Meg Ryan and what not to do when I'm looking in the mirror... and then remember President Hinckley when he said [not exact quote] he was looking at his wife, Marjorie, one day and she was covered in wrinkles. He said he had never seen anyone so beautiful in his life :) How sweet.

future husband, take notes.

.cross your fingers.

[don't] wake me up before you go-go

Friday, April 3, 2009

I am a very heavy sleeper
I have to set the 2 alarms on my ihome as well as the alarm on my phone and my alarm clock. I'm bound to hear one of them in the morning and wake up.
I'm also notorious for sleeping through my alarm(in this case alarms)

but

every morning at 7:55
my brother
waits for his carpool

and without fail

plays the piano.

He doesn't read music, or know any "actual" songs, no no.

He plays the Old School Mario theme song.

EVERY
MORNING

over and over

My 4 alarms don't wake me up

but THAT does

And I sleep in my basement.

Thank you, Evan, for making sure I am up before you leave the house.
