This year has flown by.. And I haven't even learned spanish yet. Ugh. Next year, next year.
Seriously, where has life gone? I feel like I'm holding on for dear life while time zooms on! I haven't had time to just sit and drink hot chocolate and watch the [lack of] snow.

Things on my to-do list if I had more time:

Call old friends and catch up
Deep clean all my closets/room. Organizing. DI-pile-ing. Trashing. Keeping. Memory Remembering.
Sew Dresses.
Read

Sigh..

Anyhow.

2009 has been an exciting year.

Highlights included:

starting school again
new puppy
friends' weddings

all friends home from missions
saving for nyc.

I can't wait for next year and all the adventures it will bring.

The Art And Flair Of Mary Blair

Cinderella, It's a Small World, Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland

Okay.

I'm a sucker for Disney animation.

The main reason I went to see The Princess and the Frog was because it was the return to 2D classic Disney animation. Love.

One of my all-time favorite Disney visual development artists is Mary Blair.

Some of the animation in PATF was inspired by Mary Blair. I about died I was so happy.

Who is Mary Blair?

Above is some of her stuff, I guarantee you've seen it before!

Isn't she wonderful? It's animation like this that inspires me and makes me want to be a Disney animator. Did I tell you? I think I'm going to pursue a bachelors in Fine Art or something like unto that (illustration? graphic design?) after I finish my AAS in Fashion. !!!! Eep! It's just something I have to do. Can't explain it. Can't Wait.

Seriously. Don't get me wrong, I want to write something, but nothing is coming to mind! Don't you hate those ruts? I feel like I have something profound or important or clever just waiting to come out yet nothing is running through my brain!

Possible reasons for this:

1. finals is taking over my brain, and I have no room left to think about real life

There aren't any super exciting stories going on. Nothing to report, no news, nada. Zip.

....It did snow today! That's pretty exciting, I suppose? Now I can go sledding and build a snowman. Favorite. I need a new coat too. Any ideas of where to get one? I realized this today: I only have peacoats. Seriously, I have 7 pea coats and only one of them is semi-casual. I need to get a cute casual coat/jacket. A brown or black one would be fabulous, something neutral. Something that I can wear with sneakers or flats and not feel like it's over dressed? And its got to be inexpensive. Holiday spending stresses me out.
