are you completely enthralled and inspired by Rapunzel's bedroom paintings like I am?

and the colors from this scene?   (well, this scene makes my cry anyway {..when she finally is living her dream?  yeah, i'm a sucker for people reaching their dreams/goals...} but the colors make it even more charming.

I daresay Tangled is one of the most beautifully crafted Disney films of all time.

I understand the need to feel trendy.
I understand that most college students my age are dirt poor. I am one of them.
There is hope, my dirt poor friends.
I've included some latest trends at Nordstrom and found much more affordable alternatives.

At Walmart.  And Target.  Believe it or not.

I just want to throw in, also, that I own a violet dress.  From Walmart.  Cost me $8.  I get a zillion compliments on  it every time I wear it.

Also.  There is a woman in my neighborhood who I have declared the best dressed woman.  Well, perhaps in the Top 5.  She shops at thrift stores.  And just buys what looks trendy.

It's possible to stay in style on a budget.  No need to go granola on me.

:)  Enjoy, and happy bargain-shopping!

The Art And Flair Of Mary Blair

Cinderella, It's a Small World, Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland

Okay.

I'm a sucker for Disney animation.

The main reason I went to see The Princess and the Frog was because it was the return to 2D classic Disney animation. Love.

One of my all-time favorite Disney visual development artists is Mary Blair.

Some of the animation in PATF was inspired by Mary Blair. I about died I was so happy.

Who is Mary Blair?
Above is some of her stuff, I guarantee you've seen it before!
Isn't she wonderful? It's animation like this that inspires me and makes me want to be a Disney animator. Did I tell you? I think I'm going to pursue a bachelors in Fine Art or something like unto that (illustration? graphic design?) after I finish my AAS in Fashion. !!!! Eep! It's just something I have to do. Can't explain it. Can't Wait.
