Let's Just Say

that I may or may not have intervied with my half-dream job. AND it's looking like I MAY or may not have gotten it. eeeep I can't contain my excitement right about now.. I seem to be telling everyone and their dog about it. I'm just excited to be finished* at my current place of employment! :D Yipee! Just thought I'd share.

*People who quit said place of employment never actually quit. It happens more than often when people come back after [months]. I'm determined not to come back, as much as I love it.

PS. Sorry I haven't updated in a long time. Very busy gal right here! More stories to come later, I promise.

1. Whatever. --End of conversation. I'll let you think you're right but really you're dead wrong.

2. I'm Fine -- I'm really not okay right now but I just don't want to talk to you about it.

3. Nothing -- Something IS wrong, and be on the lookout. Usually followed by "I'm Fine"

4. Yes -- Yes means yes.

5. No -- No means no.. None of this "when a women says no she means yes, crap"

6. Hmm. -- You really don't know what you're talking about, do you?

once upon a time there was a boy from the ward who found out where I worked. He would come visit ALL the time [which wasn't a big deal to me at the time-- we have a lot of "regulars"]. One day he was just standing around and I asked him if he needed anything

"I find you very attractive and intriguing and I would like to take you out sometime"

I did not know what to say. But I didn't give him my cell phone number. And I didn't give him any specifics about when I could possibly be available TO go out. Thanks, but No Thanks.
It was creepy! Needless to say, we never went out and he doesn't come visit me much anymore. goo.

happy 4th

Last July I had the opportunity to go to WashingtonDC for my first time! 1. It was amazing. 2. I had an appreciation for my country and all the freedoms I enjoy before, but after going there and learning more about American history and what Freedom really is all about in that setting I LOVE America. We really live in the best country in the world.

The thing that really stood out to me in DC was the phrase Freedom Isn't Free. It was everywhere. I never really thought about it, and had always taken it for granted. I am so thankful for brave soldiers who go and fight for our freedom. Our soldiers even go fight for other countries freedoms as well! Think about it. America is the Best.

I'm the real deal. I think someday maybe a man might just realize that. But for now, these kids I've been wasting my time on just don't get it yet.

Dear boys,

Come on, dig deeper. Maybe you've heard of it? I'm tired of being myself all the time and feeling like I'm wasting my time around you. I'm tired of feeling like I'm not good enough when I'm around you. I'm very through with this idea that I need to be someone I'm not.. The 'if only' curse. The "if only I were funnier, prettier, wittier, smarter etc etc" curse. It's the worst curse in the world, if you ask me, and I'm tired of it all. When you decide to grow up please let me know.
