5 easy steps to making a bridal bouquet from WalMart flowers
Wednesday, October 27, 2010
tools used: scissors, clippers, floral wire and tape, corsage pins and ribbon. All found at Robert's Craft
WalMart flowers. Purple Stock, Pink Mini Carnations and White Mums
1. Clean flowers (take off excess leaves/blooms to make flowers all the same height)
2. Start with main flowers adding accent flowers and filler as you go, paying attention to color distribution
3. keep them all relatively the same height making rounded shape **note**for a real bouquet you would need at least twice the flowers we used.
almost finished!
4. Trim stems to desired length. Wrap with floral wire to secure in place
5. Wrap with floral wire, then ribbon for embellishment, using corsage pins to hold ribbon in place! Yay. There you have it.
